About the CEDCD president - Maria-Mădălina Turza

I am born in 1978 in Bucharest, Romania and I have my University Degree in Political Sciences, English Tuition. I am MA in Political Studies and afterwards in International Humanitarian Law. Presently, I am PhD Student in Communication Studies at National School of Political and Administrative Sciences in Bucharest.

I have 10 years of experience in Governmental PR and European Affairs and I have started my carrier within a nongovernmental organization dedicated to promote human rights in general and refugees’ rights in particular.

As a result of my academic background and professional experience, my professional profile covers a quite large area expertise that ranges from public communication, political communication, project management, international cooperation and European Affairs to human rights.

My present activity with ECRCD is both a personal and professional challenge, whose motivation goes deeper than a carrier option and for this particular reason I will do my best to make use of my potential and expertise gained through the years.

For me, European Centre for the Rights of Children with Disabilities is a mission.

A mission that I believe in.
