VOLUNTEERS FOR RIGHTS OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES Internship Program

The European Centre for the Rights of Children with Disabilities (ECRCD) launches VOLUNTEERS FOR RIGHTS OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES Internship Program.

The program addresses students from Political Science faculties and runs from January to June 2015.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

-     Student at a Political Science Faculty;

-     General knowledge in the field of philosophy of human rights;

-     General knowledge and notions of sociology and statistics;

-     Medium / advanced level of English;

-     Motivation and desire to develop skills / a career in human rights;

WHAT WE OFFER:

-    Specialized training in human rights;

-    Training in the rights of children / people with disabilities;

-    Training on the job - lobbying and advocacy;

-    Participation in events (conferences, seminars) in the field;

-    Flexible work hours;

-  The possibility of interaction with representatives of international organizations such as: the UN, the European Commission, Council of Europe;

-   Volunteering certificates and letters of recommendation;

-   The possibility of participating in paid projects;

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

-   CV in Romanian in Europass format;

-  Letter of intent of maximum 1 page - Times New Roman 14 - motivating your intention to enroll in a program with the profile of human rights;

-   Deadline:  January 8, 2015

Selected candidates will be invited for an interview. The interview will be conducted in Romanian and English. The interview committee will be composed of three representatives from CEDCD and an independent expert.
