Bucharest, 4th of June, 2012 – Sunday, the 3rd of June, special children from the Residential Centre "Don Orione" from Voluntari were not been alone. Since the International Day of the Child is the day for all children, the European Centre for the Rights of Children with Disabilities (CEDCD) brought a moment of joy and color in the souls of children with intellectual and locomotors disabilities.
Over 20 special children from the Residential Centre "Don Orione" were filled with joy by toys, balloons and food supplements received from the CEDCD team and entered the world of fairies with actress Corina Dragomir. Together with the staff of the Centre, friends and children, we have reminded all the joy of being a child beyond the barriers and prejudices, where DISABILITY means DIVERSITY.
This work has been carried out, with the assistance of NORIEL, WALMARK and the band of professional actors "Spiridusii povestilor" ("The Fairytale Pixies").
